Dad's Surgery

Yet another tic injury....tomorrow my dads heart will be stopped for a whole 5 hours and he will be placed on a heart/lung machine. Oh yeah, and the whole chest cracking part. It really does sound awful. My tics were through the roof today as is to be expected. On the more humorous side of things I kicked the elevator wall so hard that it triggered the emergency call button to go off....oops! Anyway, please with my dad luck tomorrow. He should be out of surgery by 1pm, and I'll try to post an update around them.
We are also getting a kitty as well. At least I have something to look forward to tomorrow! Her name is Sadie and she is just precious. Can't wait for her to join our family! She's going to have to get used to my tics! My dog is used to all sorts of noises and movements in the house. She usually doesn't react but tonight my tics were loud and she thought I was trying to play with her and she started barking and digging! lol!

Breathing Tics

Finally getting some relief tonight from my breathing issues. For the past two days i've had almost a constant feeling of not being able to get enough air in my chest due to breathing tics and anxiety. I have so many tics where I either stop breathing just for a second, stop breathing for a longer period of time, or breathe in and out so rapidly that I'm not getting enough air. These tics are usually accompanied by extreme tensing of the muscles in my chest. Even when I just stop breathing for a second, my muscles tense and twist in this way.
This is a tic that hardly any one sees, but one that is very painful and affects me. It's hard to move though my day when i'm just not getting enough air. I become very clumsy and my coordination seems to deteriorate as well as having the constant feeling that I can't catch my breath.
I'm glad i'm getting some much needed relief from these breathing tics tonight though. I really needed a break.
