I have talked to another TS mom and she had told me that putting fingers in the mouth was something both of her TS kids had done. MY daughter Ansley does it all the time. She does not suck on her fingers but seems to frequently have a finger in her mouth. I wonder if it is in fact a tic or a bad habit and being that we are still newly diagnosed I am still learning and not quite sure. She does go through the lip licking but it may last for a few days and then she stops only to start back up a few days later. She does tend to do this more frequently when it is colder. She also has had the hand and finger smelling but it was an earlier tic and one I did not know was a tic but thought it was just something odd that she did. Now that she has been diagnosed with TS I know it was a tic. SHe also loves to feel things that look soft and smooth and will comment about how soft they look or feel, I am assuming this is a tic as well?? Thank you for the information and helping to educate myself and others!!~BrandyAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02819527386635368759noreply@blogger.com
